My daughter bought this fabulous gazebo-looking lantern and asked if I would make a fairy garden for her. Ah, one of my favorite things. (See my Pinterest Boards-Fairy Gardens & More) I hope this one makes you smile.
A tip in case you use a screen as I did. It had straight spikes to anchor into the ‘ground.’ The round tile I used on the floor would not allow for that. With a pair of pliers you can bend the spikes like feet and hide them under the tile and it will hold.
Oh, my, that is so cute!!!!! I love miniatures so obviously, I love this. Sometimes I try to create little stuff but nothing this great. Now you’ve inspired me to level up!!! So cuuuuuteee!!!!!.
Be sure to check out my Pinterest boards on the Fairy gardens etc for more ideas. These little things I used all came from a garden shop. Many of them around the country are carrying darling things with a garden theme. It is like miniatures/dollhouses, The nice part of these fairy garden ideas is that you can create them in many containers, a basket, something you have on hand. Watch the scale. HAVE FUN.
I definitely will once I get to do one 🙂

Delighted you shared this with your blog followers. Hope they enjoyed it too.
I’d never heard of fairy gardens but they are amazing! A lovely adjunct to a doll house!
The delightful miniature world can be done on a smaller scale than a big dollhouse. I hope you will look at my pins on Pinterest to see all the things you can do with this fairy garden idea.
Stepheny I know you loved making this for your daughter. Are those chimes? (you might enjoy looking at this blog: http://petalandpins.com).
Yes, I saw these little wind chimes and thought, ah, instead of a chandler in a gazebo, why not these chimes. It worked. I will check the blog you suggested. Thanks.
Stepheny, I LOVE this idea! You are so clever and creative! I know there are faeries living in my garden and this inspires me to create a “playhouse” for them. I will peruse my yard and house to re-purpose some object and transform it for the faeries. I’ll let you know what I come up with. Thanks so much for sharing this fabulous idea!
