“Never trust anyone who has not brought a book with them.”
Lemony Snicket, Horseradish

Not just any book, please, but Facing East – author Stepheny Houghtlin, available on Amazon!  Short of that if it isn’t your cup of tea, than I recommend a mystery I just finished, Under An English Heaven by Alice K. Boatwright. Here is a link to the review I wrote for it. I recommend BOTH books.

Amazon tells me the book’s in the mail. I do expect that we will be presenting it to you for the author’s signature.

Love the quote. The little diner near us wouldn’t recognize me unless I had my kindle or a book with me each time we go. 🙂

    • You are a person after my own heart. There is a scene in my new novel where the idea of always having a book with you is mentioned. In this case, getting stuck on the highway behind a traffic accident. What would we do without our kindle or book in hand? Wish I could join you at the diner and talk books.

When I was a teenager, I found myself on a long train trip with nothing to read, and I promised myself, never again. Since then, I always have something with me. A book, my Kobo or pages from freinds who asked me to read something of theirs. Makes my bag a lot heavier, btu who cares? 😉

And I love the quote. I’ve read a few of Lemony Snicket’s books and loved them.
