I’ve once again signed up for the A to Z Blogging Challenge in April. This is its seventh year of operation and my 4th year of participation. Signing up for the challenge means I have committed myself, not only to blogging every day for a month (except Sundays), but also to visit at least five other blogs every day. If you are a blogger, it is a wonderful discipline, a great teacher of what works and doesn’t….length of a post, clarity and presentation of material, visual support, and sharing something of value with your readers. It helps grow your readership while enjoying the work of a variety of bloggers on numerous subjects. I would encourage you to participate if you are just getting started with a blog or want to improve your approach to the one you have been writing. Scroll through my previous blog challenge posts to get the idea of what this about. I have found that I work best with a theme for the month. One year garden posts, last year settings in my latest novel. I’ve got to get started with research and writing now, the only way to be ready to enjoy the process and have time to visit other blogs. This year’s theme reveal will be announced in March. I hope you will FOLLOW Stephenyhoughtlin.com during April in order not to miss any of the fun.

Wow. Good luck with the challenge. My April is packed with travel so I can’t participate but will look forward to following you through the alphabet.
Oh, and I love Lucca too. When you visit again, be sure to have lunch or dinner at Gli Orti di Via Elisa (http://www.ristorantegliorti.it/). It’s the best!
I’m actually not going to participate this year. I just feel like there’s not enough time for it for me. 🙂 I do plan on visiting some sites, though. Have fun with it!
