Welcome if you are visiting because you are on the 2016 A to Z Post Challenge Road Trip This is a series during the month of June celebrating Summertime
“There was nothing like a Saturday – unless it was the Saturday leading up to the last week of school and into summer vacation. That of course was all the Saturdays of your life rolled into one big shiny ball.”
Nora Roberts, Rising Tides
What are you planning for this Saturday in June? If you have a farmers market in your area, I suggest an outing to buy the perfect tomato for your lunch. Then take some white bread, plenty of mayo, pile on sliced tomatoes, and add salt. If you have a better suggestion, please leave it in the comment section. We’re all looking for a great way to celebrate this summer day.
I shall be relaxing with my youngest daughter and her dogs, our dog and our foster-dogs, waiting for my eldest to arrive with her new husband at the end of the afternoon. Then it’ll be a barbecue on the terrace, and talking until well after the solar-powered LED lamps illuminate the area.
We do have a market not too far away. Thanks for the reminder. I’d love to go get some corn, tomatoes and cantaloupe. 🙂

I’m cleaning pool furniture!!
I don’t remember if we used to have tomatoes this early. Seems like they came in a little later, but I can certainly picture that sandwich. Here’s something I never used to worry about in the summer. My computer is spending the weekend at the Apple Store. Boohoo. Replaced hard drive, now trying to recover data. Fingers crossed.
