Welcome to letter T and to this year’s Theme:
The Glories of Tea With Stepheny
Put a three tired stand on your shopping list or rethink the one you have. Mine is nothing fancy from one of the box stores like Linens and Things. It sits on my kitchen counter. I leave three blue Spode plates on display and I tweak it for holidays. I add ribbon and Christmas balls, Easter bunnies and eggs and grass. In Summer it might hold peaches or fresh tomatoes. But tea time it holds the traditional tea finger foods. I hope you enjoy having tea with me today. Pick the cake plate stand of your choice. Enjoy!
wow really fancy! No room in my small kitchen! I am enjoying your posts! Thanks!
I have a much more modest two-tiered affair, the kind with a central post/handle, that came with a setting of Christmas china. I really should get one of these three-plate numbers: I could put out so much more food, show off some of my lovely plates, and change it around for any occasion. Something to keep an eye out for once we’re able to browse in shops again…
Love these. I’ve seen them used for all kinds of things and considered getting one to use on my display table for my cards.
Spode is pretty fancy! I have a really pedestrian one from some American store ( can’t remember the name ) and sadly it’s used more for my regular dinner parties than for tea parties . But I enjoy using it all the same
Forget the stand! I’m in for the food!!
I have 2 tea stands usually use for plates with complant or a shower for tea food. Wish we lived closer so we could have tea .
