“Fashion is a kind of communication

It’s a language without words

A great hat speaks for itself.”

“Take off your hat,” the King said to the Hatter.

“It isn’t mine,” said the Hatter.

“Stolen!” the King exclaimed, turning to the jury, who instantly made a memorandum of the fact.

“I keep them to sell,” the Hatter added as an explanation; “I’ve none of my own. I’m a hatter.”

Delightful. I was wondering how you’d deal with X. Loved the hats

  2. I love the second hat and the third. I wish I lived in the hat era. It covers up awful hair!

  3. Kathe W. says:

I am not a hat person at all…but these hats are fun to look at! Cheers!

  4. noelleg44 says:

I love hats and am so sorry they are passe. They went out of style while I was in high school. The Triangle Sisters in Crime had a lovely tea a few years ago in honor of Agatha Christie and we all wore hats!

hey! Dear One, So glad I’m getting these fun postings! Love these hats! Tomorrow is our extended family Zoom call. Emilie has chosen the theme Kentucky Derby, so I look forward to wearing a derby type hat. I have 10 fabulous hats of various kinds that Richard Fair let me come pick out from Clare’s connection. After her death, Richard discovered some 80 hats that Clare had stashed around in the closest in the house. So fun and a special connection to her.

Miss you! Praying you remain healthy in body and spirit during this weird time🙏

    Much love, Carol 💜
